Once again, we face off against Meteo, the scourge of the vast ocean of space. It's destroyed countless worlds, and its rampage must stop. It seems like a strange plan to keep attacking Planet Meteo when the previous two attemps didn't damage it much, but it's the only time this planet has ever run away from something--meaning we've indeed struck upon its weakness.

By now, you probably know the drill: Meteo is 11 columns wide, has 7 colors, has average horizontal thrust, has excellent vertical thrust, and has Armageddon as its Planet Impact. You'll see without a doubt that Meteo is also a high scorer, with me getting 89,000 points by the time this battle ended.

Also, remember how I pointed out that each Meteo block element depicts a different planet inhabitant on them? This is what you can see in this battle:
Dark Blue = Geolyte
Red = Firim
Light Blue = Freaze
Pink = Limotube
Green = Boggob
Light Yellow (sometimes light green) = Luna=Luna
Fuchsia = Globin

There are 5 colors Meteo doesn't use. But do you also remember, on the Vs. COM match against Megadom, that garbage blocks from your opponents will be of your opponents' colors? Well, I decided to play some matches against the computer when I used Meteo and found the identity of the remaining 5 colors.
Yellow = Layazero
White = Bavoom
Blue = Oleana
Orange = Anasaze
Purple = Forte
At this point, you've seen most of these planets, so they should largely be familiar.

So I defeat Meteo, and here's what happens:
"The Planet Meteo is repelled! Countless launched Meteos smash down upon its surface, and the planet shrinks and expands as though in pain. And then, what was once thought as the never-ending Meteo onslaught simply stops. It seems like the time is finally up for this fiendish slayer of countless worlds. But then, as all looks hopeful, the red gas covering Planet mereo begins to rumble violently. The evil Planet Meteo begins its rampage once more."

Now we know for sure the Metamo Ark plan is working! Looks like we've actually managed to injure Planet Meteo this time. How much more will it be able to take?

  • Meteo is supposed to shoot meteos and the meteos are supposed to end worlds. How come they don't show meteos coming out of Meteo?

  • They weren't portrayed like that in any of the other games, at least visibly. Meteos is 1.2 million kilometers across anyway; they'd be too small.

    Most likely, the gaseous streams you see coming out of Planet Meteo are the Meteos.

  • @puyochannel Sure, that's what they did at the end. But what happens when it passes too close to a planet and Meteos from there winds up on the Ark?

  • @Overhazard uuuuuuuuuuuuum...... send them back to Meteo?

  • @puyochannel Is there an alternative you know of?

  • @Overhazard WHAT!?!?

    its destroying other planets to get to Meteo?

    what a loada bull!

  • meteo is so cool! the streams flowing out of it are meteos...

  • on the ds version

  • that's actually true. if you watch the intro, you see it right there

  • Huh? I don't understand what you mean. As far as I know, Meteos is sending out Meteos, not the planets themselves.
