  • Dear Rose,

I first learned the story of the Horn Family's escape when I had the great good fortune to meet, and bond with your brother Sol. We were colleagues in Milpitas CA, 1962-1966, and remained friends until he died. Sol proved as tight a friend as any might wish; he mentored my commitment to struggle for civil rights through the decades. I loved his intelligence, wit, and leadership in professional, political and financial matters. I miss my great pal, partner, and teacher.

  • @sunplenty Aunt...to hear this in your words..gave me chills. Thank you for having the courage to speak truth, to share what must not be forgotten. may the world have peace, love L

  • I love this, my dear Auntie Rose, the most brilliant of them all...
