Here's Marilyn performing the crossover hit, "Shame on the Moon", released on the 1982 album The Distance by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. Nice cover -- great 80s look! Hope my fellow McCoo fans enjoy it... Music arranged and produced by Solid Gold's musical director, Michael Miller.
Tanya Tucker's version on Arista's "Changes" album is better than Bob Seger's, and I luv Bob Seger's.

@JLGriego1 ...I agree, this ranks among the worst of her SG performances. Not only is her vocal completely soulless, the arrangement is BOTH shitty and doesn't even resemble the original song anyway.

@SennaF...I agree. I watched this show as a kid, now I'm going through and watching these for shits and kicks. This is one of my absolute Seger favorites, this arrangement is horrid-I mean what the hell is she supposed to do with an arrangement that barely resembles the original music?
She's such a champ though, she's so comfortable onstange and will attempt anything they throw her. Once in a while she even came through and she was always great to look at. She really was the perfect host.

This would be just fine if I had never heard Bob Seger's definitive version. What Seger did with Rodney Crowell's song makes this almost unlistenable.
