i have just seen the moscow performance of the same play; it had some minor defects, notably the music and the overplayed parts of some secondary characters, but on the whole seems to me a hundred times better than what i glimpse here
I don't agree with you at all - "The Coast of Utopia" was actually one of the few plays on Broadway that was amazing - they don't make plays like those anymore. I think Tom Stoppard is a genius to adapt such a fascinating world onto the stage!
Yet another piece of junk that is a substitute of art in this country. Sorry for the folks who think this is art. Also very funny how Tom Stoppard is trying to present himself as an intellectual at Charlie Rose show. Even more funny are the actors, they look like have been recruited from the local McDonalds.
Yeah, the show has three parts, and altogether it is really long. I was just reading on that site JuliB that last year they did a Marathon of it, all three parts in one sitting. Ethan Hawke was in it!

Not even close to a true statement! Lets see you write something better....or perform better!

I am not sure if it was Broadway ... But, anyway... Lucky you! I have not been able to see geniuses on the Broadway for quite a while... :-)

Are you serious? What daughters did you play and what was it like to work with Tom Stoppard? It must have been an amazing show to be in...

The character who is drawing her is Jason Butler Harner. I was in the show and played 3 of Herzen's daughters. The two young boys played my brothers.
