Well thanks for your unusual insight. Yes the world is stupid because they don't believe in nonsense. Jesus if he existed at all is dead. Try reading this book and actually understanding what the purpose of Revelation was.

I'm curious. You speak as thought you are not a Christian and do not believe in the resurrection of Christ. When you say "nonsense" what are you referring to? My question is, are you a Christian? The things you say would lead a person to think you probably are not. And if you're not - what is your interest in the Bible?

I'm not a Christian.. I do however still appreciate Biblical scholarship. I used to be a youth minister and have spent 6 years in theology schools and Bible colleges. I think there is a difference between apologetics and actual history. Apologetics finds ways to make the answers work. History tells us what really happened and it still shows an interesting picture. I would rather people understand the bible from a historic point of view, it gives for a much deeper understanding.

Good advise ! I did buy Breaking the Code i find its one of the best on decoding the book of Revelation ive found.I will prob start buying other books by Bruce Metzger.Keep posting !

My feelings are, Get all the information & knowledge from all the sources you can, Then God will give you the understanding you need to reap the good fruit of His word, Everybody has their own interpretation of what information they get, So when something is revealed to you REJOICE in the FATHER. Until the time comes, Share your knowledge in the spirit of what Christ has He would have.
