I discovered the source of the leak in the refrigerator. The water drips from the back ceiling and also freezes. This water leaks out under the door to the kitchen floor, and has done so for the past month.
well it could be plugged still before it enters the tube in freezer so water has nowhere to go except run other places. you will have to pull the access panel to see if there is food/crumbs in freezer blocking the tube or the channel the water runs in to get to the tube. it could be that the tube is pulled off from inside freezer and water does not enter it and just runs where ever it wants.
@obsidian231 I have this problem, water leaking like in this vid. i unplugged, over night. next day, blew air through white drain tube from freezer, and had air flow to drain pan in back bottom. plugged in, next day, still leaking. water pools in bottom of inside of fridge, but also in bottom of freezer. repair man said let thaw for three days. is there other problems with same symptoms, like an auto defrost, or something?
Another trick... Unplug fridge, allow to defrost for awhile. Use warm soapy water and a turkey baster. Force the solution in and out of the drain tube until you have clear flow.
PART 2.........i took the tube in the bath tube and flushed it out good. Not a problem since. no water leaking in frig or on the floor now. wish i would of done it earlier after having water on the floor everyday for over a yr.refrigs are all frost free nowadays so the heater coils kick in and defrosts the coils of ice and the water runs down the tube to the compressor area to evaporate. Thats where the water comes from. MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG THE REFRIGERATOR BEFORE WORKING ON THEM.
the drain tube that runs down to underneath frig is plugged. the tube either starts from bottom of inside frig or starts from back of frig and runs to bottom. the tube is usually black or white . try using a semi flexible rod to push through the tube to unplug it so the water from the defrost coils can run freely. mine ran from the lower part of freezer in the back of frig to the bottom. I pulled the refrig out from wall and unbolted and pulled the drain tube off. tube was plugged at freezer.
Get a life you douchebag this is a freakin useless video! It only freakin has 4 words in it stupid?!
