A possible sequel to The Dark knight.
My plot would have the Edward Nigma as the front runner for the now vacant DA position. In the spirit of upholding Dents passion for justice, Nigma seeks to capture the Batman and bring him to justice by any means necessary. Nigma arrests Gordon and finally links Wayne to batman via Carl Reese. Seeing that true justice cannot be upheld in the court of law, Nigma becomes something more than just a prosecutor and reveals the shady client he has been representing.

"The Dark Knight Returns"? Why the hell would they name a movie after the classic comic made by Frank Miller - especially if it was about the freakin' Joker? That's like if they made the Under the Red Hood movie be all about Killer Croc. I mean, it makes no sense.

@user1maximus yeah i know that now, that comment was from like 2 months ago, and at the time it wasnt revealed that the riddler wasnt going to be in the movie and i had heard that edward nortan might play him

@ArmusMcCluskey ...except bane wouldn't work in the realistic, modern batman movies that christopher nolan has been building. It's very implausible that a super strong and powerful guy like him would ever work. But yes, the riddler isn't really that wonderful. We learned how well that worked in batman forever. It sucked.

@jackandbeer420 ...except that poison ivy could never work because there is no way to put a realistic spin on a character like that, which is what these batman movies have been trying so hard to do. The same goes for killer croc and probably for bane. Batman 3 will have two main women characters in it, so catwoman and/or harley quinn is possible. Also talia al ghul is likely. The riddler has been confirmed to NOT be in batman 3, so scratch that. There also won't be a batman 4 or 5, 3 is the end.
