I didn't understand stretching and contracting exercises until I watched your video. I have been teaching voice lessons for years, but never had any of my own teachers expose me to vocal function. These exercises seem to be at the very root of both singing and speech. My own voice is improving greatly!

@thereminohio These techniques are from speech pathologists, and could be used for many voice related warm-ups, such as singing. I haven't practiced them for a while, but it helps to do it before doing something with the voice outside of normal, or any time you want to prepare. I don't talk very much, so I tend not to do them often, but the more days I do them, the better I get. Practice is good, but I try not to overdo it.

A tear comes to my eye every time I watch this,
I miss my companion cube :' )
I like how easily you seem to control and change ur voice it doesn't sound mimic'd. I hope I can learn to do that to. By any chance did you have a background in singing before you changed ?

@kraig800i I did some singing, but nothing organized since middle school. My voice is still very similar to how it used to be, so I want it to keep changing but sound natural. Overall, the changes I have made already do make me feel better.
