China is so corrupt. You know why there was no news from them.

Boycott Chinese merchandise. And meditate on impermanance. My Lama was born in Sikkim, and he is pretty cool about this. I am more emotional...it makes me very sad.

  • @insas223 Still man 20 hrs... ?? its because they were never prepared for such situation. Why wait for things to happen and than react.

  • @nixnikunj All i am trying to say that is such adverse conditions the rescuers have to move carefully. In the mountains one false move can mean landslide, slips, death and injury.Basic communications and rodas have to be built. In the hills since there are less number of roads, things are slower and tougher.Even helicopters cannot land everywhere. In case they rush, the rescuers themselves may have to be rescued. The watchword of-course is speed, but with caution.Peace.

  • @insas223 The PART is its not "War" that they have to move strategically... its "Rescue" so they have to reach on time or else it is not "Rescue mission"... it will be "Cleaning mission". Natural disaster is something which we have not seen yet how bad it can go...? why I poke this way? so we can be ready of any such circumstances in future, so others comment on such matters like you did just to explain me n its working,,, educate each other to progress.

  • @insas223 I agree with u n I belong from hills (Sikkim) I remember on my childhood trip frm Gangtok 2 Kalimpong(WB) n there were 2 land slides in between n how we manage to transit from one place to d other ... my mother, my sister n many other fellow passengers that time we wanted to go to d other side so managed anyhow... I'm just surprised and wondering if that rescue team (which most of them will be trained ARMY or any FORCE) would have been on their feet .

  • @nixnikunj Mountain roads at the best of times pose difficulties and rain, slush and slides routinely cause problems. With an earthquake of this magnitude, the devastation would be severe.Mountains are especially dangerous as quakes causes slides and road breakage.Sikkim is not the plains where if one road is cut you find another at the side. I hope for the best and pray for all in the earthquake affected areas.

  • its more thn 20 hours n our rescue force is still finding d road to d location... Amazing!!! Are they waiting for d roads to b pitched so they can move easily?? If d tremor was felt till Delhi how com there is no news from China at least d people from Gamba, Gangbazhen, Longzhongxiang, Jiruxiang, Khanbuxiang, Yodong or atleast Tibet should feel it or something to share?

This is a big Question running in my mind?? no single news from CHINA??? WHY?? China covers almost 50% of Sikkim's border area
