My brother whose an E-5 in the Navy said because of this movie, he joined the Navy, and this could be the best recuiting tool the navy had. Too bad, they took the F-14 Tomcat out of serivce, that's one badass airplane.

Damn I wish I could become a fighter pilot when I'm older. Sadly maximum height 193cm and I'm currently 187cm at 16 so I sincierly hope I stop growing.

F-14 was an AWESOME aircraft... but maintenance costs and time plus it was at it's design limits did it in. But, the variable wing configuration made it handle great in both supersonic AND slower speed combat maneuvering which is why the pilots liked it so. Plus it DID look bad!!
