Walmart Supercenter Grand Opening Marion, NC

The grand opening ceremony was held for the Walmart Supercenter in Marion, NC on October 26, 2011. In attendance were representatives from Walmart corporate offices and employees of the store, Steve Little, Marion City Mayor, David Walker, Chairman of the McDowell County Commissioners, and various other community leaders and groups. Representatives from the McDowell Chamber of Commerce's Ambassador Committee were Cecilia Reel (ERA Mountain View Properties), Sylvia Scott (Rock-Tenn), and Miranda Lewis (Manpower). The new Walmart Supercenter is located at 4875 Sugar Hill Rd, Marion, NC.
