I cannot stress this caution guys : put aluminum foil or a cookie sheet under the upside down pan. Letting the oil or shortening drip onto the bottom can cause a fire and if you have an electric stove, I can almost guarantee it WILL start a fire.

Great video! The improvement on that pan is amazing and your dogs are adorable! I will try this on my 10" and 12" Lodge skillets which are not rusted but need seasoning. Thanks a bunch!

Love the dogs!! I had a little rust on a cast iron dutch oven. Cleaned and re-seasoned (several times). It has a little bit of a pale gold color to it. Not sure if that is right, or maybe I need to season again. Please let me know your thoughts, Thanks!

you found it in your neighbors trash????

You need to put the pan face down
