Oh my god..thank you both for being so so informative. We are having massive probs with our sharp 32" Aquos TV and have no ability to record without tired old VHS. Stayed with friends in Dorset over the New Year who own one of these and said it is very reliable and also helps digital reception? I am not a massive techy man but do think this sounds like a good idea to purchase. Thanks again! Ooop!
