this is the logsplitter i built in spring of 2006. split 10 cords of wood with no breakdowns. cost about $700.00 , 12hp, 11gal per min pump. fast enuff to bite your fingers.

  • nice my 8 ton 3.5 horse splitter is about the same, the only part I hate is picking the pieces up as they fall,

  • i put the wheelbarrow under it, then wheel over to the wood pile

  • must be rough on the back....

  • it tilts up level, had it down so i could roll on some big ones

  • looks like some real back bending..pretty low to the ground

  • it tilts up 2 feet, i had it down to do a few logs i couldnt lift, rolled them on

  • what part of the world are you in?I have a wood gasafication boiler with a 800 galon heat storage tank.the pile of wood you have would heat my home for about a year.
