@holoi145 Just because a game is made on another games engine, doesn't mean they will share the same physics model. Unreal Engine has used several different physics engines through several different games, its only a single component out of many in the engine. Plus, GRID had a lot more variables being calculated than "Mario Cart", but was never intended to be a total sim, otherwise it wouldn't sell well enough to make back the money spent on development. No need for spiteful exaggerations.
@GrumpyOleMan They aren't trying to make the most accurate physics model, just a game that is fun enough for people to buy and enjoy. Race teams train with RFactor Pro (not iRacing), but most people don't race for real. They can't spend all that time and resource making something that only 1% of gamers will buy and enjoy. I hope for a true simulation to be released, but I don't expect it to come from codemasters, obviously. Just hold on until RFactor2 & GTR3, and enjoy these in the meantime.
@TheNickmoura Exact same thing here.. you will buy it for xbox360 ?

Here's hoping that the same or similar weather effects will be used in GRID 2 or DiRT 3, if there ever is such games.

@just0408 I see what you did there. LOL. Too bad that may be the best part of the game from what people are saying in here.

this game is going to be like grid and dirt except f1 cars
no simulation at all, the cars are turning on their axis

@Giorgio4M
Thats exactly the point you tool, GRID was arcade crap, Mario cart had comparable physics where realism is concerned, Don't talk if you don't know!!
