  • With Allen as the new host, or temp host until Bryan is back, I feel like you need to cover more BSD new and do more BSD reviews.

  • How good that you've talked about Meiga. Thanks for the report! :-D

It's actually pronouced like "may"-"ga". It's nicest feature isn't file sharing, but the ability to talk to a UPnP capable router and automatically redirect the ports and detect the external IP, so the actual URL shown is the one that would be "seen" from the Internet. Also, there's no need to type the URL by hand because it has a "copy" button (sheet and horizontal lines) so you can paste it directly in Jabber/MSN/IRC.

  • Bryan would have had a breakdown this episode. I can picture him pleading to Chris for some good news and lamenting the bad.

  • The guy from the Linuxgamecast makes my sub woofer to kick me in the chest... My God !

  • Good show, but I don't get it... both LAS and TechSNAP covered file sharing on Linux and both have mentioned SSH and it scp and sftp client, and BOTH failed to mention sshfs (<--- my preferred file sharing tool over the internet) in as much as a single word.

  • 'Polls', 'changes' and 'what would like to see?' The Lunduke ain't coming back I tells ya.

  • Gnome 3.2 is great. Gnome 2 is a little more polished than 3 but is old and retro and vanilla it lacks a decent menu. It looks like it'll take far less time for gnome 3 to surpass gnome 2 than it took kde 4 to surpass kde 3. Given the choice I'd opt for either kde 4 or gnome 3 over gnome 2.

  • Review of Gnome 3.2 please!
