@kalbee3 the wire changed the rotation of the ball causing it to get a VERY generous bounce and roll....watch in the slow motion version as the ball makes first contact with the ground its sideways, causing it to bounce like a soccer ball and roll.. no way that ball lands like that without hitting the wire..

@ganu29 Either way, it was a great game, and I'm glad for the rematch. I go to Bama, but I believe it was an even match. I think that LSU and Bama are the two best teams in the country, and they deserve the final game to see who should be the champion. To be honest, I think a best 2 out of 3 should be in order haha.

It may have. Unfortunately in the past when a punt has hit the wire (see LSU/Arky 2010) the ruling is to play the ball where it lands. So in this case, it's tough luck for Bama. I hate those wires anyway. Iirc it actually caused a muffed punt in that game.

I dunno... maybe it did, maybe it didnt'. Regardless, there were WAY too many other missed ques and errors to say that THIS is the Magic Bullet. How about NOT GETTING ANY TDs? That should be the REAL topic of discussion.
It's over and I hate the results. Still, no one can blame one TV wire or ONE this or ONE that. The wheels just came off... if they were ever fully on at all.

nope. the Camera Company has already made an official statement that at no time did the ball touch any wire. They also stated that they viewed the ball through the Sky Cam as it was flying and said that had it hit the wire anyway that the camera would have been jiggled and it would have been seen on camera.

Thanks for uploading I have been looking for a video of this. Good game played by LSU. I blame Bama's coaching staff for the loss though. You don't allow such a shitty kicking game to happen then beat the #1 team in the nation.
