Its hard to believe how far things have come since then.I was a teen during this time and it was unknown, incurable, basically untreatable and I remember when they didnt know how you got it and it was a death sentence.I remember when there were calls to quarantine them all.Treatment, knowledge and social stigma has come so far since then.
