｢さくら｣に決定 九州新幹線直通 N700系7000番台 【Shinkansen N700-7000 Sakura】

2011年3月に開業予定の、九州新幹線博多-新八代間。
開業と同時に、新大阪-鹿児島中央間に直通列車が運転されることになり、その列車名が｢さくら｣に決定しました。
また、速達系列車も設定されることになり、その列車名は｢みずほ｣になりました。
現在、さくら用のJR西日本N700系7000番台(JR九州所有は8000番台の予定)量産先行車1本が、試運転を行っています。

No. This N700 series 7000 version are about the same performance as the current N700 series.

They are 8-car sets for use on through-running Sakura services between Shin-Osaka and Kagoshima-Chuo on the Kyushu Shinkansen from spring 2011.
