  • I would hope I would have aborted the 2nd one too and try to td earlier on the rw...seems too close to me...i don't think the pilot had a good enough grip on the x-wind...what an airport!

  • this is one amazing airport you really have to get it down early to ensure lots of stopping space. Nicely done here.

  • @posthastey I wouldnt wanna slip on an approach like this. especially because of the length of runway to play with is nil. a slip at the point he aborted on the first landing would have left him floating down the runway which is obviously not favorable here.

  • @posthastey Ace Ventura, actually.

  • i hope to god that i never have to fly this approach in my career!

  • @citori525 haha, spoken like an airline pilot :)

  • @cameronwick

That King Air should have gone around ( i saw it too )

    he touched past half point

    Pretty dumb

  • @posthastey

slipping is not a good idea here

he did good! i dont know how much time You have on the warrior

he might be a low hour pilot

good call safe landing perfect flare

and i prefer to crab myself.

  • Go back for some dual instruction and learn how to slip before you overshoot next time...Ace.

  • @offroadram95 You need to land into the wind, so if the winds are favoring that approach, that's the direction you need to land.
