  • Well, actually he played all his young life, even throughout high school. Perhaps what you heard, and what is true, is that Ruston's football team ran the ball all the time, and virtually never threw a pass, until midway through Andy's senior season, when the coach realized something had to change. Anyway, Andy's final stats his senior year of high school were around 50 catches for nearly 1000 yards, all in about 6 games.

  • Yeah, I heard it from Andy himself that he took advantage of Ellis's facemask coverage by opening his eyes really wide and pretending he was about to catch the ball, before then cutting and going in the opposite direction...never heard of another deception like this taking place in the history of football, and on such a huge stage for LSU.

  • Who says "NOT" these days?

  • JEsus, Little Nicky SATAN must have been coaching then since LSWHO was still trying to score with the game won and only twenty five seconds remaining. You have to give it to the SEC BOY - REAL CLASSY! NOT!!!

  • Sorry, how is this "revealed"? We don't see the move until it's too late!

  • @easyeltrey damn, that play was the shit!

  • i think that guy is still playing secondary for ND by the looks of the michigan game

  • the greatest move in lSU histroy was the fake field goal attempt ran ina few years ago

  • Wow, I was there with my dad, I was 13 and we were in box seats on the 50 yd line. We almost got trampled to death, the fence was flat on the ground and half the stadium seemed to rush the field. He died in 91, I sure miss him. Thanks for posting this.

  • This video is a treasure because of the great Voice of the TIgers , John Ferguson.

Hawthorne is pretty good , but JF was the best of all time !!

  • The MOOSE hates both ND and LSWHO, but the DOMERs are the worst of the two.

  • Geaux Tigers!!
