Do those barrels dematerialize. I had gallon containers of water and some of them are leaking.

I think it's wise that your storing your water like this but a word of advise. Take some water out of them before caping otherwise, when they freeze, your containers are going to crack. I see you filled it right to the top. Winter is upon us. Just sayin

If you are storing water straight from the tap, you still have to decontaminate it with bleach?

Getting water out of water heater is highly NOT recommended because of the fact that it sits in calcium and is after the filtering process and is now contaminated again for drinking or cooking. I suppose if you are dying of thirst, thats ok, what can you lose?

i have 2 - 55 gal barrels that are the welded lid like your little ones but i dont know what was originally in them . anyway i can find out? they have a different smell , i got 2 65 gallon bathtub liners from cheaper than dirt and put then inside just in case

@ORYAN918 I add 1 teaspoon per 10gals so 3 teaspoons for 30 gallons hope that helps
