Taken from master trombonist, writer and producer Wayne Henderson's superb 1977 LP "Big Daddy's' Place" on ABC Records. On this LP, which is Soul/Funk/Disco on side A and Jazz on side B, we find many of the biggest names that surrounded Wayne Henderson's "At Home Productions" at the time; like Pleasure's Nathaniel Phillips on bass, Marlon McClain (guitar) and Bruce Carter (drums). Bobby Lyle plays electric piano, Steve Gutierrez drums and Donnie Beck is on bass (the duo that made up B&G Rhythm), Roland Bautista (guitar) and Ronnie Laws (tenor sax), just to name a few. Vance "Mad Dog" Tenort of the L.A Boppers contributes percussion and Augie Johnson, Sylvia St. James and Greg Matta of Side Effect does the backing vocals.
Here's a good bio:

@mrzrice Man your father was a bad man on the drum throne and he definitely set the tone for all of Ronnie's future drummers-they had to be fierce. I never understood why Steven G. nor Roland Bautista(guitar) were never in any photos of the band-Ronnie Laws never highlighted his band member on the album covers,he kept them a mystery .Is your father still playing? He was a major influence on my playing drums.Peace.
