khosrow vaziri is indeed from iran. His costume, however, only needed to make him look arabic for the american crowds to believe it. He was the bad guy, and in american culture at that point in time, Iran was a country that scared alot of people. The wrestling business used that to make Khosrow (the iron shiek) a monster bad guy that made dads mad and little kids cry lol. He was a great bad guy
