I see her birthday was January 27th 1944. Born in Berlin. That would have been one day after a major British bombing of Berlin. One could assume her father was active in the army so I question if he ever made it back home. When the Soviets took over how was their situation treated with a baby and all. Couldn't have imagined the struggle.
