Lamborghini Gallardo Crash At Knockhill

SMRC Saloon and Sportscar Championship at Knockhill 14th June 2009 supporting the British GT Championship. Lambo spins through Duffus Dip and hits a tyre barrier head on, also hitting a photographer. The driver was okay but the photographer took a knock and was stretchered away.

The "Ooooooooooh yes!" isn't me by the way so no comments about that please!

@CammyYammy. Twice is ALLOT, I'd say its fairly low ratio compaired to the amount of times it's been round Knockhill. Granted it was two big off's but he surely wasn't bothered about it and was back racing the next again meeting having fun. Which is all racing is about Should watch the motors TV coverage of the SMRC's events and judge for yourself.. everyone has opions and i've been lucky enough to be a passenger in said car and for sure I think the guy can drive.

@VeryBigPaulG Ive heard a few stories about this guy (the lambo driver). Turns out he crashes his Lambo.... ALLOT. He's a loony, not a race car driver, he thinks he is though ;-)

Thanks for the info lol but i know that, i'm referring to the marshal who hits the deck when running to help. i was marshalling at chicane when it happened, was not a pretty sight!(the crash, not the marshal falling lol)!

More like alot of oversteer. Took the corner way to fast and lost the back end. Oh, im hearing it was wet too.

i was there that day...as soon as the small shower of rain came on i knew he would crash...i was acctually standin next to you :) because i have a video at the same angle as that

He broke his tibia and fibia BTW, good on him for running those few yards after getting hit I reckon
