I saw the movie (A Countess from Hong Kong) when I was on active duty in 1967 or 68. I enjoyed it (Sophia Loren and Marlon Brando) although I have read that it is not very highly regarded by the critics. Chalrlie Chaplin also wrote the song "Smile".

A class act then, still a class act now and she will be remembered long after the so called 'stars' of today have gone. A beautiful voice whatever the song or the language.
I hope she is around for many years to come so she can give pleasure to those who adore her and to hopefully influence a younger generation.
Thank you Petula Clark and God bless.

My favorite version from my favorite female singer. A tribute to Charlie Chaplin's talent for writing magnificent songs.
