Missouri State Fair Reserve Champion Gaited Mule 2009

Ragan's Boss Hog, owned by Pat Ragan Dixon, MO. Trained and shown by Jessica Long. This is one of only two, two year old gaited mules shown at the missouri state fair 2009, the other mule was a half sister to Boss. This mule was shown in 6 classes. The first class MO Champ TWH Mules 4 and under flat shod english, Boss won Reserve Champ out of 4 mules, 2nd class Mo Champ TWH Mules youth Champion out of 3 mules, 3rd class Mo Champ Western Gaited Trail Reserve Champ out of 19 mules, 4th class Mo Champ Amateur Western Gaited Trail Reserve Champ out of 9 mules, 5th class Mo Champ Gaited Mules 50 and over, Reserve Champion out of 5 mules, 6th class Mo CHamp Gaited mules flat shod Reserve Champ out of 11 mules! What a day this was Boss's first show and he did awesome, what a hell of a two year old, I was priviledged to show and train this mule! The only mule that could beat him was his half sister Millie owned and shown by Brad Crismon TN Gaited Mule Celebration Champion also a two year old.
UPDATE: Boss was shown in the Springfield Gaited Mules show and was show in 4 classes. He won Champion in the youth and ladies classes and Reserve Champ in the mens and open. The only mule to beat him was again, his sister Millie. Boss also won two belt buckles at Springfield. Look out Shelbyville here we come!!! 573.821.3077
