@stefts1 you're right. I would insta call Patrick's bet, like in 1 milisecond . But then again , Ivey's one of the best ever, I'm a rookie poker player.

@Corbon440 even the ice block shows more expressions and weaknesses :)

One needs a very lucky river to felt him

It was just lucky that Antonius filled up on the river, cause he would likely pay off Ivey with his trip aces which he could never laydown. The guy just won't fold if he has something.

these commentTORS are terrible aq9 flop with two spades and having ace 4 wont make the hand a monster so stupid and to say hes coming over the top on the river with a king high flush draw is redicluous i think ivey could have got away from this he was only beating 4s full (very unlikely) or a bluff aghain on that board very unlikey
-
I would fold here because a) 99 is the 6th best hand and b) I'm a nit :)

Yeah that announcer is the worst, the pot odds for Ivey to call were also not 2 to 1
Antonius is a freaking ice block.

@limonaadlimpa What hand would only call on the flop and turn that Ivey can't beat? The only hand is A4. AA/QQ/AQ/A9 are all raising the flop because they'd be want to get value from straight and flush draws. Ivey is not folding here getting over 2:1 on a call when there's only one realistic hand that beats him and Antonius is completely capable of bluffraising the river. Try playing against people who aren't nits that only play the nuts.
