  • Just finished reading 'The Street Lawyer'. A beautiful story and a real eye-opener. Could not believe I was reading fiction. Felt more real than 'reality' because we don't get to see the deeper realities of what's before our eyes. Can't wait to read the rest of Mr Grisham's books.

  • I start reading the Pelican Brief, and I liked it, he's good and what I like is that you can't stop reading still the last page because there is always some kind of action.

  • @mochafudgetruffle If people go to law school because of a fictional book, I have major doubts about their future careers to begin with

  • It sad these novels give an unrealistic version of life as a lawyer. They are pure fantasy. Its sad people enter law school based on what they read in these silly novels.

  • Grisham is a great legal thriller writer. I've read two books of his and I had bases to judge. He creates such flexible and rhetoric dialogue that it makes you turn the pages without a stopping till the book's over. He creates thrill in his stories and it's fun to read them. He's not the best writer, but there are so many out there that can't spin a yarn for shit. I'd say I wasn't sorry paying for the books I read of John Grisham.

  • His stories are okay, but his legal interpretations suck.

Hey, John - will you represent the interests of someone conspiring to committ murder against YOURSELF? Or are you just blindly sympathetic when WOMEN are involved?

    Jackass.

  • @RichMaxwell they also adapted The Firm into a TV series

  • john grisham is so down to earth and lovely.. very honest!
