I'm doing lettuce indoors, & I notice what I refer to as gnataholics because to resolve any gnat issues, all I have to do is put out a half glass of wine. Every last one of those suckers will meet their doom in that glass, lol
For my herbs though, the basil is ALWAYS hearty, and the cilantro & chives do okay--but I can NEVER get oregano to produce. I NEVER have--& the seeds are tiny so I'm unable to control where it grows &/or the space it has. Should I do something different for my oregano?
Chris I think I mentioned to you before to avoid shock plant at dusk, if sets shock like that use thumb nail & nip them back to near bud or at least to where they are wilted to. Do this right away to avoid root shock. Nice to see you growing in ground.
how did those avocado seeds go? i'd be really interested to learn how to propagate those since i just learned in the diggers book that you can grow them down in victoria...
Hey mate. I have been growing some different things trying to find heat and drought tollerant veges. I am having excellent results with Clemson Spineless Okra. And I have also just ordered some Ceylon spinach seeds - google it.
What do you with Sorrel?
