This guitar is not an electric/acoustic is it?

Yes indeed, I just brought my Seagull Coastline Grand home and looked it up to see who else has one. You play well, and I agree with you about the tone and the size, but for me, it's the neck. Godin makes outstanding necks. I also have a 5th Ave Kingpin, and it is so well made. I am a Godin fan for life, as this one is my 3rd. My other is an S-6. Great guitars, North American made and the $ is just right.

@paintingglass probably had some Martin SP Phosphor Bronze Extra Light Acoustic (MSP4000), as that is what I usually have on there... but at a time I also used John Pearse 80/20 Bronze Acoustic (100XL). Both are great light strings for this small bodied guitar.

Why go with grand instead of folk? or parlour instead of concert size?

@MacTolver I remember Ian Anderson saying something to the effect of "I play this tiny little guitar... because it makes me look bigger." Personally, I really enjoy the tight and crisp sound, they body size, and it's good for someone like me with lean fingers. But then, some people hate it for the same reasons I love it. All comes down to personal preference and trying a bunch of instruments out to see what works.
