Yes, the PLOT is not unique....but the acting and the details of the plot WERE, I thought, quite enjoyable. I give LEAP YEAR a 10, Richard Roeper a .....well, he surely gets paid something for his lack of talent.

heres the deal if your going too dis or bag on a film, you need to get a better set, cause the audio from your mic has a hint of reverb it needs to be in a controlled studio, so when you get that solved, then i think you can bag on films, i can pick at you like you pick at films, cause i do video productions for 30 years, and and your audio sucks, big time, so i give your production a D - cause you know better, and put this on youtube, get with the program

Hey Richard: I watched this movie -- cliches and all -- about TEN times. And I'm gonna watch it AGAIN!

It's a charming movie that lends a momentary happy escape from reality. Beautiful scenery, budding romance....Wish there were more movies like Leap Year.

Richard Roeper, the incurable unromantic. Boo. I loved it. Saw Leap Year a zillion times in theatres and on DVD. The actors have charm, and the scenery is spectacular. Go ahead and see this fine movie. It's wonderful.
