I loved the subject matter, you do good work, but whoever is doing the camera work pans too fast, and ships around too much. thay need to back off and get a full shot and quit panning so fast.

Just getting into abstract painting, rather than realistic, and collage / mixed media, and I love it. Feels much more relaxing doing abstract. I love this painting and it looks like you enjoyed doing it. I noticed how you turned the canvas while working on it and wiped the drips off here and there - good idea that I should keep in mind. How long have you been painting abstract, and are you self taught? Your painting reminds me of water lillies as well. Beautiful, and thanks for sharing !

Speaking as an abstract artist to all that disapprove:
1. Artists will sometimes "overwork a piece. I have a canvas that has 2 pictures underneath until I finally decided on the third.
2. Not liking it is fine, but saying it's bad? Alot of people would say abstract done in acrylics is alot hard than a "subject" piece.

Give her a break, dude! She's in her later stages in life! Besides, she's been painting a hell of a lot longer than you have! (that is to say, IF you paint)...
