@MAlatinboy Which by the way is an example. For actual shot... try being in Hell bunker on the old course at St Andrews 8 ft from the face and putting it on the green. Now that was a great shot!

@MAlatinboy not really. the difference between a hole in one and putting it close on the green is typically luck. For professionals they put it close more often and they play more so their chances of holing in one are greater. It is still luck mind. Nobody is that accurate. A greater shot is when you are in the rough in the trees with 120 yards to go and no direct line and you choke a 5 iron, close the face and bend it round the trees, under the branches and put it on the green.

@Harlingtonjnr3 I think he meant the hole-in-one shot as a whole, not this particular instant. If that's the case, the ace is definitely one of the best, if not the best, shot a golfer can hit. But in your case yeah not THE BEST SHOT ever considering how many people have gotten holes-in-one before.
