This was a truly adrenalin fuelled shoot; with India's most recognisable woman, in the world's most photographed city—Paris.

We wanted to capture her in an assortment of settings that would reflect both the traditional and contemporary aspects of the city. Only, given Ash's hectic schedule we had her for just a day... so speed in each location was paramount. And transporting a full crew around Paris along with Ash's wardrobe changes was certainly not an easy task.

Though, throughout the shoot she was a commensurate professional, relaxed and open to suggestions. Almost everywhere we went in Paris, she was recognised and behind most of the shots, crowds gathered to watch—as we shot our first ever, Condé Nast Traveller India cover.
