  • I´ve a removable harddisk with fat but can´t save my back ups ( too big) if I change to NFTS

is it still gonna be recognizedif I put my ex HDD in a other PC later on ?

  • yes they will still be recognized

  • will it delete everything on the drive?

  • Yes, because you are basically reformating it. Back up all your data on your hard drive first then do this.

  • okay i got files in the external hardisk and i don't want to loss them if i convert it from fat32 to ntfs i will loss them ? cuase the files is important don't want lose them and also when i want copy files more than 4 gb its saying this file is to large to copy cuase its fat32 from that why i want to change it to ntfs and copy more than 10 gb files hope u help me and thank you

  • Do u loose all memory on the disc when doing this?

  • THANKS A LOT!!!

  • You left out a gargantuan piece of information.....do you lose existing files with the second method or not? Your video didn't answer this. The format (first option) will obviously delete all files.

I think you should explain this in your video, otherwise why explain two ways to do the same thing when one is clearly easier?

  • Thanks alot, Video tutorials work great for me, and this sure did the trick.
