My Heavenly Father Loves Me

I have felt for some time that I needed to create and dedicate a video to my daughters. Much of what my wife and I talk about seems to be about serious, complicated and difficult things happening in the world. My daughters overhear much of the discussion, which I am sure is not helpful to give them hope for the future. Well, I wanted to step back for a minute and present a series of beautiful images played to one of my favorite primary songs for them to watch which hopefully promotes peace, love, light, and hope. Despite all the darkness that is surrounding us, we can see, feel, and hear much beauty of our Heavenly Fathers creations. May you all find the time to still smell the roses and be grateful for life and hopefully this will help you to raise up your children for the future.

More than two years ago, my influential brother fell away from the gospel, he became Atheist and lacks understanding and faith.

But, I have not lost any faith in him. He knows deep down within himself he still knows what's true. How I know this is because I sometimes hear him sing this and quote it. I love him, despite his lack of faith, Christ loved everyone, so why should I not follow his example?

I know that my Heavenly Father Loves me. He has given us temples so we can be together as families forever, the Plan of Salvation so we could become like him, and even His Son, so we could receive mercy, and live with him again. Thanks for the Video!

Yes, I was raised Mormon. I was baptized at age 8 just like you. I read the Friend and the New Era. I went to Primary and Young Women. I tried to memorize the articles of faith. I've been inside the temple in Nebraska. I performed two "baptisms for the dead". I believed in the three levels of Heaven.

I was very lost.

I am no longer a Mormon. Only by turning my back on the LDS church did I learn just how much God truly does love me.
