Nice one Wes...i grew up in the time of the video nasties and remember the witch hunt that went on trading standards and police seizing video tapes and shops closing down to be honest it was all corrupt and still is because the video recordings act actually wasn't passed legally until just recent as they mentioned on the documentery...so some people went to prison for nothing. This kind of thing goes on today films are banned and cut its just not widely reported. Nice one mate take it easy..

@42ndStreetForever Thanks for watching Colin! Yeah, it seemed like it was a really messed up time for video store owners and video distributors. It doesn't even make sense why some of the films were banned. I think some were banned without even being watched first. Crazy! I am obessed with video nasty. Growing up in England I would go to the video store I enjoyed looking and reading the video nasty box. I saw Physico cop that was banned in England and it was shit. I watched it on youtube.

These "shameful eras" continue to happen I'm sad to say, every decade or so theres some nonsense piece of scaremonmgering and the govt reacts by banning certain material. They banned anime porn last year, if the characters in the cartoons "appear" under 18 you can be sent to jail (for a CARTOON???).

Sadly, no one learns from the mistakes of the past, and they use the same underhanded techniques to push these laws through!
