Unnamed trio with Dominique DiPiazza. I'm assuming that's Michel Prandi on guitar. Dominique is playing a Neuser bass here.

  • You people are stupid, is all about preference. you cant say that someone is better than other. This guy is great but I am sure that he isn't the only that is good. good luck and don't post stupid comments like this one is better or worst than others. peace

  • What on earth is it with people, coming on here saying that people like John Myung are better than Domninique? What a joke! I was watching a Victor Wooten video a few minutes ago and there were people comparing Myung and FLEA to Wooten. FLEA? He comes nowhere near Wooten! I mean sure, Myung and Flea are great bassists but nowhere near as good as Dominique or Wooten.

  • Over the course of my 14 years of bassdom I've come to realize that if only bass players or only musicians like a particular player or artist...it probably means that he/she is not creating interesting music. It's great to have a highly refined skill, but if you don't create something interesting with it, it's a waste. Case in point...DiPiazza. Just because you can play a million notes a second, it doesn't mean you should.

  • @mushroomzagain myung¡s video instructional is nothing from other world in you fucking basic and clasic world of metal and rock always more of the same and bad sound and fingers technique

jazz exceeds the neoclassical style because of the complexity involved good use of chromaticism

jazz=constant evolution-exploration. metal=only for guitarist with a neoclasical languague without diferrence and not worry about having a good sound of fingers, touch faster scales that show us in a music school

  • @mushroomzagain Spiral Architects pulverized Dream Theater )) i think that this 13 years old comparaison is what you really can understand, you don't quite understand that the who's better than who is a pretty stupid&silly way of talking about musicianship&art.

  • Great trio. Never, heard of them before... neat bass style.

  • @justgotupfrombed

mate im not saying myung is better than DDP

all im saying is that John Myung is also a very talanted bassist

however is noyt quite in the same league as Domonique

  • @justgotupfrombed say that he kicks*

  • @mushroomzagain i am also Dream Theater fan, but i have met Dominique in person, i've heard him play live, together with me as well. I can therefore, without doubt, that he kicks John Myung, technically, musically, with feeling, you name it.

Myung is prog-metal baseplayer, Dominique - whatever else

  • haha

    fucking dum idiot

lookup freeport jam and ull see how technically gifted John Myung is

also Dream theater are possibly the best band out when it comes to musical and composition ability

    ha no musicality ignorant bastard

  • i give u the reason men !!
