  • I was born in '69, so was a kid when this came out in 1974. I remember hearing it through the late '70s. Can't say I noticed it...just always kinda "knew" it. It's really wild when years later as an adult, you re-discover it, and how beautiful it is.

Pop music changed so much since, it's hard to believe this was a Top 10 hit. We've lost something. It has to do with pop being aimed at a more mature audience back then, and real musicians with real talent using real instruments.

  • america always made such beautiful music,,such great harmonies,,too bad we will never hear them do more together, now that dan peak passed away in july,,thank you sooo much dan,,r.i.p.

  • Saw them last night live at the Coach House. Awesome show and floods of memories!

  • When he sings "And Cos never was the reason for the evening" I completely disagree. I was a big fan of The Cosby Show and I watched it every evening.

  • So relaxing, this song is my representation of watching a saturday sunset feeling the warm wind through my skin

    marvelous song

  • Love sing along music...remembering long days gone by!

  • nice memories way back high school days

  • @Fretfeeler You gotta luv the relitive minor !

  • I just learned this song on vocals, guitar, and bass. The bass line weirded me out at first, but I see now he's playing A minor over the C maj 7th chord. It makes sense to me now. I never thought I'd learn more music theory from a song that came out when I was 3 years old!
