TKO2121 At last someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to boxing and in particular mike tyson. I totally agree thats the point it all started to go wrong when mike lost Kevin Rooney. Throughout those post Rooney years i was forever hoping Tyson would hook up with Rooney again and get is carear back on track

me too..couldnt understand why not...even tyosn admitted he wasnt the fighter he once was...and he said that at bruno 2..

I also think Tyson should have fought Lewis in 2000 . He wasn't his best but had much more left than he did in 2002 .
Would have made for a better fight .

This should have been were Tyson was at his peak in his career. If it had not been for his jail time and the firing of Kevin Rooney, Mike would have beaten all of the greats of the 90s: Holyfield, Tony, Foreman, Moorer, Morrison, Mercer,and Lewis. Mike was living a very harsh life after the firing of Rooney, from Don King, to failed managers, to drugs, and becoming a foul-mouthed reckless sports joke.Rooney was the apprentice of Cus and knew his style best, and treated mike like family.

I agree the firing of Rooney was one of the biggest mistakes . Mike let Don King make all the wrong moves .

by this time mikes speed was gone,but he had a few combinations in this fight

damn even if you block Tyson's punch its still gonna hurt.

tyson kept getting banned from boxing. this was yet another come back fight i believe
