@SPARTAN9999999991 The holocrons were a Rakata-based technology (that's why you have to be a force-sensitive to gain access to it since all Rakata tech use the Force) .

And the first "holocron" ever known is Adas , the sith'ari ( a legendary sith lord who ruled korriban for 300 years and defeated the rakata when they came to invade and put in slavery the sith ) .
