Now here's a lost performance of the most famous hit from Grahams solo career.
This top of the pops performance was a part of a promotion for his famous "Line Up" album from 1981. The musicians on that album were all from DP family,
including Jon Lord, Micky Moody, Ray Fenwick & Cozy Powell.
But on this video we can only see Cozy on the drum kit and other unknown (maybe session) musicians.....

Cheerssss.....

Defined Graham Bonnet is one of my favorite vocalists.

Not just by your voice and visual, that are unique, but because he is an excellent

    songwriter.

His vocal lines are great, and unique.

    Here is the proof.

This is such a bad mime job. Shame cos he has one of the best voices of his time and still has.

I assume that you're one of 'those' blues guitarists that can't seem to quite get out of the 70's when it comes to guitar playing? While moody is technically a very decent Pentatonic scale player, he would be lost out his comfort scale. Malmsteen has no emotion, he is technically a much better guitarist theory and playing wise. Gary Moore was my mentor when I first started playing and had a great technique, I'm always grateful to this guy for helping me get my own style :)

I disagree on your examples with Satriani and Vai. Both these guitarists can and do show a lost of expression and emotion in many of their tracks, Catch22 and For the love of god are prime examples of this. Malmsteen is just a saw merchant and nothing more.

Strange that Cozy Powell RIP was on this as he hated the direction Blackmore took Rainbow in with Bonnet. He also hated his short hair and Hawain shirts etc.

SOS should have been the next single. I think Bonnett himself said the record company chose the wrong single after Night Games.
