Pole Position Perfect Run

I was bored so I recorded myself playing Pole-Position.

The game is the 2008 version on the NAMCO joystick. Recorded with my blackberry. (Which accounts for the poor video quality.)

Tips: Keep the accelerator depressed. Shift from low to high between 80 and 114 mph. Use low gear to decelerate into the hairpin turn. Try to enter the turn far left. Shift back to high after the sign. Try to stay in the middle to pass. Pretty simple really.

YES! I've never seen a video on here of somebody actually winning the game!

I wish my Ms. Pac-man controller hadn't broken (Dx) Pole Position is my favorite game. My High-score was somewhere around 80,000...but I could never score that high again because I'm so out of practice =P

The old Commodore 64. I wrote my first program for the commodore. Just a sentence that would display on the screen with an infinite loop.

Have you tried to pass on the outside???? We got bored and I got 24! Give that a shot. I can get you out of trouble with the puddles every now and then. Also hones your skills a bit. There's a LOT of room when you look at it that way!

Come on man..... As soon as I figure out how to post a vid I'll show ya how to get 63,000. My high is 63,790 on a plug and play Mrs. Pacman that has these and Galaga, and two others I never play! You gotta take the big turn at at least 170!

@toddlusk dude not that impressive. dont switch into low gear on turn 4, simply let off the gas until you slow to 160 mph. my high score is 63590, if im not on par to break 60000 i just restart the console...

wow i do the exact same thing in the quailfying round but i always come in second.
