Trade is what made humankind what it is. It wouldn't make sense that every family manufactured its own shoes, right? Well it doesn't make sense that Cambridge, Massachusetts drilled for its own oil. Now, if trade is good it cannot be good and bad. You can't favor increased trade and then complain about the horrible costs that trade bring with it. It brings much more benefit than it costs. Cavemen understood this; we should too.

Free trade is perfectly desirable.

Corporations pushed NAFTA to the American people. Now we pay the price. Telling people go back to college, the? is HOW? College tuition rise every year without control. Also note not everyone is born to go to college.Alternatives , make your own business, WOW, how people can do that? without education or in their 50's already.
Also ,only aprox. 6.5% of inventions of independent inventors reach the market, and 47% are created for consumers. Also 80% of new business fail within the first 5 years.
