Devon's P.O.V.
June 23rd was coming closer and closer and our excitement was building, we even made a countdown. We continued to e-mail the Joe, Nick, and Kevin. At first we chose our words carefully so that it sounded exactly the way we wanted it too, but after a while we gave up with that strategy. We soon felt comfortable enough to say whatever we wanted, which led to random ramblings and showing the Jonas Brothers how crazy and weird we really are. We talked about almost everything, but we didn't tell them everything, we wanted some stuff to talk about when we actually met them.
One day when Sara and Sam were hanging at my house my cell phone started ringing. I looked at the screen and didn't recognize the number; I didn't even recognize the area code. I waited a little while to answer because I wanted to listen to my ring tone, which was Hollywood. "Hello?" I said answering the phone.
"Hi, is this Devon?" a guy on the other side of the phone asked. He sounded a little familiar, but I couldn't figure out from where.
"Umm yeah it is. Whos this?" I asked very confused.
"I'm hurt you dont recognize my voice. It's Joe Jonas," he replied trying to sound upset.
"Oh," I said realizing now that it was him. "Wait, how did you get my number?" I asked suddenly confused again.
"I'm a Jonas Brother, I have my sources," he laughed. "And no, I'm not going to reveal my source," he added as if he read my mind.
"Fine. I'm gonna put you on speaker," I told him. We talked to Joe for an hour and half way through Kevin and Nick joined the conversation.
"What do you want to do on the 23rd?" Joe asked.
"Well, we could go bowling, there's a bowling lane in the next town over," Sara suggested.
"Sounds good. We'll meet you there at 10:00," Kevin said.
Graduation was coming closer and we were so excited we talked about it constantly to the Jonas Brothers, I'm sure they got tired of it, but they never said anything. On graduation day I had to make a speech since I was third in my class. I was so nervous as it was, but when I got up to the podium I looked up and who did I see, but Joe, Nick, and Kevin in the crowd. After I made my speech I walked back to my seat and silently told Sam that they were there. Sam made her speech and we were so excited to meet the Jonas Brothers after the ceremony, but as soon as it was over we saw them rush out.
Joe's P.O.V.
I was able to do some research using my connections as a Jonas Brother to find Devon's cell phone number. All I did was make a phone call to my director friend and ask him to get Devon's phone number from her dad, but to make sure she didn't know about it. I know, not as exciting as you would have thought. So when I called her she didn't recognize my voice, I tried to sound upset but I don't think I really pulled it off. I knew she wanted to know how I got her number, so before she could ask I let her know I wasn't going to tell her. I figured what she would come up with would be way more exciting then what actually happened. I talked to Devon, Sam, and Sara for about a half hour and I must have been pretty loud because soon Kevin and Nick barged in.
"Is there a party going on in here that we werent invited to?" Nick asked me.
Nick and Kevin joined into our conversation and we talked for another half hour or so. We finalized our plans fro the 23rd, which was bowling at 10:00. We were all pumped to go bowling and I knew I was going to crush everyone. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I am a pretty amazing bowler, Nick might be some competition though.
The girls graduation was coming closer and it was all they could talk about, Sam and Devon were nervous about their speeches. We decided to surprise them by attending their graduation. When Devon got up to give her speech we instantly knew that she saw us, as did Sam. Unfortunately we had to leave right after to go to an interview so we didn't get to tell them how good they did on their speeches.
