I purchased the D8 with the 454 V8 in it. This machine is so handy and user friendly. It has plenty of power and is not that bad on fuel consumption. Power wise you can spin the tracks before it will power out. I do own a 1947 D4 Cat with a 350 Chevy small block and a 4 speed truck tranny married into the Cat transmission. The D4 was setup like that in the early 70's by my father. Its what they had at the time without spending money to repair the original engine. That little Cat is unstopable.

@jksnipes1 i say u get rid of that gay ass 454 and put a c13 or something along that line and plus it will save you money cause diesel engines last forever and they can be rebuilt easier
