What if I have sisterlocks? I want so badly to remove them, but they are so small! Help!

I think it can be done but it is a matter of patience. With sister locs or interlocking I think it should be just like undoing a knot. I know my smaller locs really tested my patience but I'm sure it can be done.

The same way 'yuh don't haffe dread to be rasta'.you don't haffe rasta to dread!Some people don't want to have locs because of religion. For me it's just about not puttin chemicals in my hair any longer & doin what I think is right for my hair!

@bodyluvu , I am in the same boat! I've had my locs for 12 years now and have been wanting a "new look" but very scared. After watching Shawnta's process and results I finally got the courage, I've started the process about a week now, I've taken down the very back only so far (because of my work I can't wear hats or wraps) so I have to do this right.. Good luck with your decision, my only fear is maintaining my natural hair afterwards : ( Let me know how it goes...Peace!

@lafemmenaturelle I have sister locks also. They are extremely tiny. I would rather cut them out and start from scratch. I'm lucky in that my hair grows rather quickly. I know there are a lot of people that want to keep the length. so they would not opt for that.

Hi Shawnta, I'm a avid watcher of ur videos :-). I have been growing my locs for about 12 years now and just recently cut them to shoulder length. I have been debating on taking them down for about 2 years now but am terrified of the whole process. Can my locs even be taken down after so many years? or would it be easier just to cut them all off (not really feeing the bald look tho). Help me Shawnta Please. Thanks in advance :-)
