Best part is the way Sigrid Thorton and Kirk Douglas interact as Spur and Jessica. The opposite of their work as tight-lipped Harrison and rebellious daughter. They get to let loose a little and you can tell they really like each other.

Especially the way Jessica and Spur hit it off so well, you can tell she wants to think he's her Dad but Spur knows otherwise.

@Madamina1000 I was watching an interview somewhere, and Tom said that he hadn't really ridden much before doing this film O-O

Tom Burlinson was an accomplished singer as well. He wasn't Australian but Canadian by birth. He lived in New Jersey for several years as a child but then since 12 he lived in New South Wales. As a result he can easily switch accents like most Australian actors. Guy Pearce and Russell Crowe weren't Australian by birth either.

Must have been so surreal for Spur....spent his life looking for gold to win Matilda's hand. When he finally finds it, Jessica all of a sudden enters his life. The look in his eyes says it all....love it!

This song is beautiful! I am in love! Beauty such as this is almost too amazing to be real. This aptly describes that kiss. How can he make a kiss off of the back of a horse look sooooo sexy? He is really an awesome rider and actor +_~

@Madamina1000 I know right!? I would marry him if he wasn't old now =P. I've constantly drooled over the riding in this movie, it's not just movie riding (you know what I mean, thrashing arms and legs, jerky on the reins, etc) but actually good riding.
